The information you provide will be used exclusively for handling your abstract submission and a potential participation in the Water Security and Climate Change Conference 2025. For data protection reasons, we need your consent for this. The collection of personal data is necessary for handling your abstract submission and is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. A) DSGVO. The data you provide in the context of the abstract submission will be processed by the conference organization team. Wherever and whenever possible, the data will be anonymized as soon as possible. In any case, personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected.
The data subject has a right vis-à-vis JLU Giessen to obtain information about the personal data concerning him or her and, where appropriate, to have such data rectified, erased or to have the processing of such data restricted, and a right to object to the processing and a possible right to data portability.
Insofar as the data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The data processing carried out up to that point remains lawful, the revocation only applies to the future. In this case, your data will be deleted immediately. However, once personal data has been anonymized, this is no longer possible, as this data can no longer be assigned to you.
